Fences
A permit is required for installation, replacement, and substantial alteration of all fences.
A pool barrier fence requires a separate fence permit from the pool permit.
Application Requirements
The following is needed in order to apply for a permit:
- Completed EZ Permit Application
- Legible copy of your plat of survey showing location of fence with colored marker or highlighter
- Signed copy of Fence Permit Guide
- Signed copy of the Homeowners Declaration Rider if you are part of a Homeowner Association (HOA).
- A copy of the contract between the homeowner and the contractor (if one is being used).
- Homeowner Affidavit if homeowner is doing any of the work themselves
Fees:
- Permit Fee of $70 due upon permit issuance

Required Inspections
- Post holes inspection is required for fences
- A final fence inspection is only required for swimming pool barrier fences upon completion of the fence at the time of the final pool inspection.
