The Village of Mokena Water Department is in the process of upgrading our water metering system.  Our Meter Reading Staff will be changing out residential manual meter readouts, and replacing them with remote meter readouts.  Part of your meter will be replaced with a new radio read metering system.  The process only takes approximately 20-30 minutes, and is done at no cost to the consumer. 

Technicians will need to access your water meter, which is usually located in the basement, crawl space, or water closet.  There will be no disruption in water service, and no plumbing required.  The technician will only need a small area by the meter cleared to perform the work.
