Residential Interior Alteration/Remodel
A residential building permit is required for all residential interior alterations. Examples include but are not limited to kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, removal of load bearing and non-load bearing walls, enlargement or creation of new openings, and room conversions.

Required Inspections
- Dumpster – Waste receptacle must be in place prior to the issuance of the building permit.
- Various depending on project scope, but typically:
- Concrete prepour inspections (if applicable)
- Underground Plumbing (prior to covering with flooring or concrete, when applicable)
- Rough Framing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing
- Insulation
- Final Framing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing
